Kellie Martin is an American TV and film actress most well-known for her performances as Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama''Christy The 'Christy'' series, Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama as well as Lucy Knight in the medical drama series 'ER'. Her other roles of note include the lead role in The Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin's acting career started at age seven when her aunt, the former nanny who took care on the kids of Michael Landon, helped secure the role of a guest in 1982's 'Father Murphy.' After she graduated from Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more than just a hobby. Her roles were significant on TV as well as the big screen. Martin has also been a photographer and a dancer. Her sister who passed away from Lupus at age 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
